Our Work

LogiPlan’s portfolio includes managing projects for the life sciences, healthcare, non-profit, higher education, hospitality, and government sectors. Below are a few recent highlights that demonstrate how we bring value to our clients.

Apellis

Two Professionals Meeting

Apellis asked us to plan an investigator program for doctors, an advisory board meeting comprised of their executive team and key opinion leaders, as well as a larger “coming out” reception for colleagues and friends over two days in New Orleans. Additionally, we were charged with consulting on the best sponsorship opportunity and managing the executive team travel, ground transportation, sleeping rooms, conference registration and miscellaneous support for their participation at the congress.

To accomplish this, the LogiPlan team first mapped out a plan with a timeline for key dates for all parties. Regular communications were scheduled with stakeholders to ensure we were lock step in our plan. Venues were sourced through the AAO conference organizers as well as with the venues directly, based on the conference rules. Suitable venue options were shared with the executive team in concise, easy-to-read proposals. LogiPlan built a registration website for each event apart from the VIP advisory board meeting which was done through email and phone communications. In this website, the executive team were able book their sleeping rooms and conference registration, and have it charge back to their individual corporate credit cards, as requested by the client. All email communications and printed materials were created by LogiPlan. We were trusted to manage the collection of doctor signatures on the client’s NDA and consulting agreements, as well facilitating approved reimbursement of the client’s guests’ expenses.

The Marriott hosted the investigator meeting and the advisory board meeting on the only renovated space in the hotel. The participants were very happy with this location as it overlooked the city with large floor to ceiling windows. The W hosted the outdoor reception featuring a live band and firelit fountain, with an indoor after-party to meet the hotel’s requirement that live music not be played outside after 10:00 p.m. By the time the shuttle came to drive our executives back to the Roosevelt Hotel, everyone had their fill of great food, friendship, and fun!

These ancillary meetings were held in-person on November 9-10, 2017. This example project is
relevent to the MSHDA’s scope of work as it demonstrates our ability to manage multiple, varied full-scope meetings at one time, to support executive leadership, to manage exhibitor and sponsorship needs, and to coordinate with large congresses to source event space. It showcases our ability to build custom registration websites on which payments are processed.

Alcon

To accomplish this, the LogiPlan Project Manager laid out a strategic proposal and worked closely with the client to ensure it met expectations. The process begun with a design proposal for the graphic designer and specifications communicated to the expo team.

The plan included the creation of a photo wall with a step-and-repeat background and handheld frames and props. The client had an adult-sized Howard the Hedgehog costume and a team member volunteered to wear it for the duration of the event, with planned breaks. Photographers were engaged to man the photo booth and capture candid shots of the event as a whole.

Vibrant, modern furniture was rented to match the look
and feel of the booth. Hand-woven plush dolls of the characters were brought out for guests to interact with. Additionally, an iPad was set up for guests to view the e-book Howard and the Amazing Eye Exam itself. The booth and the event were both a huge hit! The crowd at
the booth became so dense that we realized our guests just wanted to stay in the vibrant and entertaining atmosphere we had created. The small details we added to the booth enhanced the experience and encouraged our client’s customers to linger, engage in conversation, and bring out
their inner child!

The Alcon 70th Anniversary Event was held in person on October 12, 2017. This example project is relevant to the MSHDA’s scope of work as it demonstrates our ability to be creative in the exhibit space. It shows our ability to collaborate with various vendors and teams. It demonstrates our ability to deliver on clients’ requests with engaging and innovative solutions. Please note that LogiPlan cannot provide costs for this client project(s), as it is a part of a confidential services agreement.

Medical Affairs Trade Show

Our friends at a busy medical communications company were engaged by Alcon to create an event to celebrate their 70th Anniversary. The concept was a trade show of sorts, to showcase Alcon’s philanthropic programs. LogiPlan was engaged to create the booth for the pediatrics vision program, Howard and the Amazing Eye Exam. The client requested an intelligent, colorful, interactive station to engage guests in conversation and fun!

Clinical Meetings at Industry Congress

Apellis was a budding pharmaceutical company referred to LogiPlan through an existing client. One of their studies was showing promise, and so they were building a sales department. LogiPlan was engaged to manage their meetings and events, and these were hosted at industry conferences for various therapeutic areas.

Virtual Government Conference

Our client, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services was hosting a previously scheduled in-person event that pivoted to a virtual event. The event contained 30 overall sessions, with concurrent breakout sessions being held twice a day during two half-day meetings. The LogiPlan team was contracted 45 days before the event start date for registration, giveaway procurement, and virtual event hosting services.

The team began by creating a conference registration site to capture participant data and provide information on the event. The creation of this tool allowed the participants to register and complete conference surveys as well as view the recorded conference sessions post-event. The team then created the Zoom Events conference site, which allowed participants to network with each other via the chat tools and attend the sessions of their choice. We also showcased each session and speaker, providing more information to the participants in preparation for the event.

Our team then worked with the client to lead each session, ensuring that the presenters and panelists could be seen and heard by the conference attendees, and all presentations were clear.

Post-event, the team was tasked with confirming CEUs for those participants who chose to request them. This was done by tracking the participants’ attendance in each session and their response to the overall conference survey. If participants completed these tasks, they were sent a certificate for their credit hours via email.

The LogiPlan team and the Missouri of Department of Health and Senior Services team came together in a concise timeframe to create an event that provided their attendees a place to learn and have discussions with each other as well as the presenters. The presenters were also able to share their knowledge with the participants, which opened the door to a collaborative conversation.

The conference was a huge success, concluding with attendees requesting more time for Q&A and asking to register for the next conference.
